I didn't fall asleep until after 1am last night...
Then, after battling with traffic for over an hour due to construction (ON THE BUSIEST TWO-LANE HIGHWAY IN CONNECTICUT DURING RUSH HOUR, FREAKING IDIOTS), I get into work to find an email from a certain family member, stating that we should spend “$200 more or less” on her and her significant other for Christmas and she’ll do the same for us.
TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS PER COUPLE?...

The next great idea!
So I have spent hours searching for the perfect restaurant for Mark’s 30th birthday surprise in a couple weeks and have come up short. I’ve perused Yelp, New York Mag, Open Table and even referenced my Zagat guide but for some reason I can’t settle on a place.
I’ve thought of half a dozen restaurants Mark and I have eaten at before and loved and I wish there was a website...

belbyv asked: you can definitely still travel when you have kids! my parents moved to hong kong when my oldest brother was 2, and my two other siblings and i were born there. i am so glad that my parents had us live somewhere international, so although kids might stop you from going to remote locations, you can still have them traveling at young ages! :)
