Thus far, I have read an entire book, lounged by the pool for enough time to get a decent little sunburn, gotten a pedicure, walked Ralphie several times, caught up on email and errands.
On the agenda for this evening? Grocery shopping, pesto making with my new food processor and chocolate truffle brownie making with my new KitchenAid.

I just dug through my suitcase to find my US cell phone so I can be prepared to call Mark and my parents during my layover in Houston tomorrow and it’s nowhere to be found.

So frustrated.
I have a stockpile of blog posts written for my travel blog but the internet cafe computer isn´t recognizing the USB drive where they are stored so my family and friends remain unupdated on my trip! If it´s not one thing, it´s something else.
On the plus side, I just spoke with Mark for over thirty minutes on the phone and it literally cost me a handful of spare change! All is well in Connecticut...

My Blackberry doesn´t work here and my crappy work computer is blocked from connecting to any wireless networks. Our office has only one internet connection which is used by someone who´s legitimately working, leaving me with NOTHING.
I´m currently sitting at an internet cafe which is pumping an ear-drum shattering mix of reggaetone, Black Eyed Peas, and techo. So old school, I love it.

I’m going to Nicaragua today for two weeks! I won’t see my guys (human and canine) for two weeks. I’m at the airport at 3:30am, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, checked in and ready to go to Nicaragua!
