A couple months ago, I was searching online for local antique shops and came across one that had an old card catalog listed among its treasures. I forced Mark into the car and off we went to this “antique shop” which turned out to be located WITHIN a trailer park, front yard filled with discarded tractor parts and a little “WELCOME! ANTIQUES!” sign on the door.
Mark refused to get out of the car and, honestly, the place looked more like an episode of Hoarders than an antique shop so I never got to see that lovely card catalog in person. This photo makes me want to kick myself for not holding my breath and stepping through that sketchy door, though - what an awesome piece for a dining room!

About

Avatar I live in Virginia but I don’t stay put for very long. I’m a nonprofit worker extraordinaire, and I love to climb mountains and travel to places no one else wants to go.

I love to cook and bake and drink prosecco, and run and practice yoga. I love beautiful home interior design and a good bargain.

I have a quirky little beagle/bassett/dalmatian named Ralphie and a fantastic, adventurous husband named Mark.
