It was a glorious Christmas. It was also a running-themed Christmas. Lucy leggings! Fancy socks! Nike+ sensor! New iPod!
And the crowning glory: Brand new Brooks Adrenaline GTS11 kicks in the funkiest of colors!
As soon as I opened the box from Mark, I ripped off my suede boots, laced up my new sneakers over my tights and began running/prancing/high knee-lifting/butt-kicking around the house, 5-year old on Christmas morning-style.
I tested out my new shoes last night at the gym (related: there should totally be pop-up gyms open only in January for the resolutioners who overcrowd my gym for a month!) for a not-fast three miles. They feel good and ready for a new year of many races and a potential BIG running project coming up soon!
