![This weekend I watched my beautiful [step] sister get married to her boyfriend of 10+ years.
The bridal party successfully pulled off a surprise flash mob-style dance and getting a bunch of country boys to shake their tail feathers to Pitbull is no small feat.
The ambulance showed up, as per the usual with my family. For my oldest [step] sister’s wedding, my little [step] brother had a seizure in the pool at the day-after picnic. For my wedding, my infant niece had a camera dropped on her head, and for this wedding, my poor, sweet nana tripped over a stair and cut her head open on a table. Luckily, all of the injured are fine but an ER visit isn’t exactly in the plans.
Now that the wedding is over, I’ve got a floor-length, chiffon burgundy dress that I’ll never wear again. Any takers? [Alfred Angelo, size 6, altered to probably a size 4-ish. Long enough for a 5’8” chica with 4” heels, so can definitely be altered for a shorter person. I paid $100 for it so it’s yours for…a donation of any amount to my marathon cause! Seriously! I live in Virginia but I don’t stay put for very long. I’m a nonprofit worker extraordinaire, and I love to climb mountains and travel to places no one else wants to go.
