Just when I thought everything was going swell…
…I realized I am sharing my room with a mouse. Yeah, it’s harmless but there’s something a wee bit unsettling about seeing something black scurry across the top of your suitcase and disappear into the unknown.
Anyway, I’m in the business of updating my resume and am stuck, hoping some of you experts/people with opinions can help.
It’s currently in a job description-type format:
Job title
Responsibilities
But I’m wondering if it should include more solid accomplishments at this point in my career, rather than just a list of responsibilities (7 years of overall experience, 2+ years of management).
And should the top include a summary line, stating how awesome I am and why? TL;DR resume style?
Thanks and HAPPY SUNDAY! (Except Sunday is a workday here so happy kind of-Monday to me!)

Definitely accomplishments/results especially for internal promotions! They know what your tasks are already!

Resumes should only list accomplishments, not responsibilities. Recruiters and hiring managers can figure out responsibilities from a well defined list of accomplishments.

always list tangible accomplishments, otherwise you are simpy regurgitating job description + who knows if you actually did it successfully..! [we do, but they don’t]. :)
